Philosophy

producer

Royal Blue Tea uses only single-garden, hand-picked tea (Camellia sinensis) as its raw material.[2] Royal Blue Tea uses only single-garden, hand-picked tea (botanical 'Camellia sinensis') as its raw material.[2] Royal Blue Tea was founded in May 2007 and has maintained a zero food-loss manufacturing policy since its inception.[2] Shinya Yamaguchi achieved the highest rank of tenth-dan in tea evaluation technique at the historically youngest age of 32, becoming only the fifth person ever to hold this rank, and won the National Tea Evaluation Technical Competition for the third time in two consecutive years (57th and 58th editions) — a first in history.[1] Royal Blue Tea bottles are sealed with a glass stopper (Vino-Lok) manufactured by Alcoa Germany, rather than cork, which allows repeated resealing and eliminates cork taint.[5] Royal Blue Tea sells a handmade logo-engraved wine glass manufactured by Hungarian Table Top Kft. in Hungary, designed to enhance the visual presentation of Royal Blue Tea.[14]
