Production Philosophy

King of Green KIYOMI Premium sits within the King of Green range of bottled Japanese green teas (緑茶) produced by Royal Blue Tea Japan Co., Ltd., the corporate entity behind the Royal Blue Tea brand. The company, founded in May 2007, handles all development, manufacturing, and sales in-house and has maintained a zero food-loss manufacturing policy since its inception. Royal Blue Tea uses only single-garden, hand-picked tea (Camellia sinensis) as raw material, and produces its beverages through non-heat extraction, non-heat filtration, and aseptic filling, all performed by hand by a small dedicated team. Production is carried out under an SGS-HACCP certified facility.[1]

Production. Royal Blue Tea handles all development, manufacturing, and sales in-house, working under an SGS-HACCP certified facility. Its bottles are sealed with a Vino-Lok glass stopper manufactured by Alcoa Germany rather than cork, which allows repeated resealing and eliminates cork taint.

Ingredients Policy. Royal Blue Tea bottled teas are made only from single-garden, hand-picked Camellia sinensis and contain no additives.

Service

Temperature. Royal Blue Tea recommends serving its bottled teas straight, without ice, at approximately 17–18°C, noting that at room temperature the refined aroma becomes more pronounced.

Glassware. The producer recommends serving in a wine glass. Royal Blue Tea also sells a handmade, logo-engraved wine glass manufactured by Hungarian Table Top Kft. in Hungary, designed to enhance the visual presentation of the tea.
