How It Works

Each complete distillation run from head (first vapors) to tail (last vapors) is divided into multiple cuts, each captured separately. Only the most refined cuts — those with the desired aromatic profile and no off-notes — are blended into the final distillate.

Best For

Achieving maximum purity and aromatic precision in the final distillate

Comparison

Analogous to the heads/hearts/tails separation in spirits production, but with finer granularity — A.I.R. makes multiple cuts rather than just three.
