Production Philosophy

FREEDL Classic is a non-alcoholic beer brewed as a Pale Ale. According to Anlegermagazin Mein Geld, it was brewed in 2019 at the Pfefferlechner family brewery in Lana, South Tyrol, and was the first non-alcoholic beer from South Tyrol.[1]

Composition & Vinification

FREEDL Classic is brewed with alpine spring water, malt, and different hop types.[2]

Tasting Profile

Appearance. The product carries a blue label, as noted by Der Bierprediger.[3]

Nose. The aroma is slightly malty and fresh, bringing a certain lightness. Der Bierprediger describes a sweet aroma.[2]

Palate. Der Bierprediger characterizes it as very drinkable with a slightly bitter finish.[3]

Pairings

FREEDL Classic pairs well with light lunches and can also be enjoyed as an aperitivo.[2]
